Meet the Founder
Joe Beauchamp, P.E., S.E.
Founder and Principal Engineer
Joe Beauchamp is the Founder and Principal Structural Engineer of Beauchamp Structural Group. A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE), he has nearly a decade of experience delivering structural engineering solutions for educational, commercial, healthcare, municipal, and federal projects throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic.
Joe has led or partnered on high profile projects such as the New Health Sciences Building at Old Dominion University, the 12 Story Hampton Inn Hotel at Town Center Virginia Beach, the New HRSD Water Quality Services Building, and the Rehabilitation of the Historic Pennsylvania House at Naval Station Norfolk. He is known for responsiveness, clear communication, and a client focused approach.
A lifelong Virginia Beach resident, Joe earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University. He believes the best engineering is built on trust and relationships, values that last beyond each project.
