Crowne Plaza Hotel Renovation and Structural Repairs

The renovation of the Crowne Plaza Virginia Beach Town Center transformed the existing hotel with refreshed guestrooms, redesigned lobby and gathering spaces, an updated pool area, new dining amenities, and renovated meeting and event spaces.

Structural services supported the renovation while also addressing significant existing conditions discovered within the building. The work included evaluation and repair of deteriorated structural steel columns within the first-floor lobby and pool areas, where extensive repairs were required to restore the existing framing. Additional improvements included removal and replacement of portions of the existing floor slab with new elevated concrete construction, along with miscellaneous structural modifications and repairs throughout the hotel.
